Hellenic Children's Museum

Program support
For the implementation of the intercultural educational program All Different All Equal, which will take place within the framework of celebrating 70 years of friendship between Greece and Canada. The program will be addressed to elementary school children, who attend schools located within the area of the Municipality of Athens, and will include 150 on site educational visits conducted by the educational staff of the museum. The program will be designed according to the needs of each age and use interactive activities to teach the diversity that exists among children, and promote its acceptance.
The Hellenic Children’s Museum was founded in 1987 in Athens by a group of young scientists. It is designed to help children develop their potential to become socially aware citizens. The museum organizes a variety of educational, interdisciplinary programs for both children and adults. The programs’ main goals are to familiarize children with art, the museum, and the cultural and technological heritage of Greece.
