The French Magazine, Le Point, Published Tribute to the SNFCC

The French weekly magazine, Le Point, featured an extensive article, under the title “The new temple of Athens”, exalting the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center’s landscape and design. The article particularly notes that the SNFCC is “an emblematic space of the Greek capital that sees itself again becoming attractive, creative, away from the sad images of the financial crisis”.
The article includes comments by the SNFCC’s architect, Renzo Piano, the President of the Board of Trustees of the National Library of Greece, Mr. Stavros Zoumboulakis, as well as the Artistic Director of the Greek National Opera, Mr. Giorgos Koumendakis, all arguing for the visionary design of the SNFCC complex and the different aspects of the project.
In addition, the article, referring to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’ s contribution, includes comments by the SNF Co-President, Mr. Andreas Dracopoulos, talking about the philosophy and particularly the vision that has driven the creation of the SNFCC.
