Launch of this Year’s CTY Greece Summer Programs in Athens and Thessaloniki
28 June 2018

On Monday, July 2nd and 9th, 2018, the Anatolia College holds in Athens and Thessaloniki, respectively, an event to mark the launch of this year’s summer educational programs of the “Center for Talented Youth (CTY) – Greece”.

The three-week long summer programs that have already started include courses that cover a range of fields of study and are complemented by leisure and sports activities.

CTY Greece began its operation in 2013, in collaboration with the internationally renowned Johns Hopkins University, with a founding grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). The Center, unique in its kind across Southeastern Europe, provides educational extracurricular programs, specifically designed for academically advanced students with a love of learning, through high quality and innovative teaching methods.

In addition, with the SNF’s support, an endowment fund was established that will provide scholarships, ensuring that all students will have the opportunity to broaden their learning horizons and be part of the unique experience of CTY Greece, regardless of financial circumstance. The SNF also supports a Scholarship Program, through which 156 children have received a scholarship to attend CTY Greece’s specialized educational programs.
