05 DECEMBER 2017 / Celebration of the Renovation of the Morgan Stanley Adult Emergency Department at New York-Presbyterian

On Monday, December 4, New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York celebrated the renovation and expansion of its Morgan Stanley Adult Emergency Department. The new space, which is open and in use, modernizes prior infrastructure and layout.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation has supported with an exclusive grant the construction of the Women’s Urgent Care Unit in the Adult Emergency Department, which has been named the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Women’s Urgent Care Unit. This state-of-the-art unit provides private care for women’s health emergencies, including obstetrics and cases of abuse.

The New York-Presbyterian Hospital is a comprehensive, integrated academic health care delivery system composed of four major divisions: the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the New York -Presbyterian Hospital Network, New York – Presbyterian Physician Services and New York - Presbyterian Community and Population Health. New York – Presbyterian collaborates with two medical schools, Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
