CEPAM – Conference

The grant supports the International Conference on Etymological Theories and Practice in Greek, to be held in March 2016 at Villa Kerylos in Beaulieu sur Mer. The main focus of the conference is ancient and byzantine Greek texts, but studies on Modern Greek approaches of ancient language are also possible. 15 international speakers will be selected through a distinguished international scientific committee.

CEPAM (Cultures - Environments. Prehistory, Antiquity, Middle Ages) is an interdisciplinary joint research unit of the CNRS (National Center for Scientific Research) and UNS (University Nice Sophia Antipolis) which conducts research on the knowledge of past societies, their evolution and their relationship to the environment.
