The Skin Cancer Foundation was founded in 1979 to educate the public and medical professionals about skin cancer and the importance of prevention, early detection, and appropriate treatment. As the only international organization devoted solely to preventing the world’s most common cancer, the Skin Cancer Foundation promotes awareness of the disease with its award-winning ad campaigns, newsletters, journals, website, printed brochures, and children’s education programs.
