Society for School and Family Consultation and Research

Program support
For the design and implementation of a two-year pilot program, aimed at ultimately creating an educational environment where children, parents, teachers, and school psychologists will interact and develop communication patterns, enabling them to create “schools as caring communities.” This will be achieved through the creation of an online platform, where concerns and tips will be shared, the organization of seminars and events, and the publication of scientific material related to crises in the school and family environment.

The Society for School and Family Consultation and Research was established in 2011. Its aim is to research, design, and implement programs towards enhancing and promoting mental health within the school and family environment, by working closely with schools and stakeholders, and combining theory and practice. It provides counselling to teachers, parents, and students, organizes classes aimed at educating parents, trains under- and post-graduate Psychology students, and maintains research and publishing activity.
