For the capital campaign for the Royal Geographical Society and for the South Pole project.
The Society develops and promotes geographical knowledge and understanding. It supports scholarly research on environmental and demographic issues, develops educational materials for elementary and secondary teachers and students, offers more than 100 lectures and programs for adults throughout the United Kingdom annually, and maintains a collection of over two million items, including over 500,000 photographic images and one of the largest private map collections in the world, the earliest of which dates to 1482.
