Renovation & Operating expenses
The grant supports the construction and operation of a Day Care Center for the Homeless in Thessaloniki. The new Center will provide primary health care, psychological support and other social services, and aims to help reintroduce people into society.
PRAKSIS focuses on the development, application and implementation of humanitarian and medical programs. The organization continues the work of the Greek arm of Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF, Doctors Without Borders) since 2004. Its programs, in Athens and Thessaloniki, offer free medical and pharmaceutical, as well as social and legal services to underserved populations, including immigrants and refugees, the poor, the Roma, victims of trafficking, homeless and uninsured Greeks.
