Praksis

Program support
For support of two PR. A. K. S. I. S programs in Thessaloniki.

The first program, the "Legal Information Center," provides immigrants with legal information regarding their constitutional rights, registers illegal immigrants and immigrants who suffer from contagious diseases, connects them to legal services, keeps immigrant archives, and organizes information sessions and interviews with immigrants who have challenging data in order to register them correctly. The second program, "Traffic Lights Children," registers children who work in Thessaloniki´s streets and integrates them into environments that are appropriate for their development. Praksis is an independent, nongovernmental association whose goal is to create, implement and produce humanistic and medical programs. It was established in 2004.

Praksis´s programs are a continuation of the "in-borders" programs that were operated by Doctors Without Borders of Greece until October 2004.
