As part of its commitment to further increase its activities in Greece, the Foundation’s Board of Directors has approved a grant to support the renovation of all Pediatric Intensive Care Units (ICUs) in Greece.
The program includes renovations and the purchase of equipment for the Pediatric and Neonatal ICUs at the General Hospital of Thessaloniki “Hippocrates”, and the ICUs at the University Hospital of Patra and the General University Hospital of Crete. In addition, the grant will also cover the installation of network interface software that will establish a connection between all participating ICUs, allowing them to communicate and share information with one another.
The program also includes previous grants made by the Foundation to the Athens General Children’s Hospital “Pan. & Aglaia Kyriakou” and the “Aghia Sophia” Children’s Hospital, whose Intensive Care Units will be connected to the above organizations by special network software.
