Children’s Gallery
For the creation of a new under 8’s Children’s Gallery. The new gallery is aimed at attracting a new audience, including British and international children and their families, and encouraging younger visitors to find out more about the content of the Museum’s collections. The objective is to offer a free interactive family experience in a soft space where children and adults will have the possibility to play together, and to propose a digitally enhanced immersive experience as well as a range of activity stations to encourage creativity and explain why the sea is important.

The National Maritime Museum was established in London in 1934. It is the largest maritime museum in the world. The museum’s collections comprise over two million items relating mainly to British and European seafaring, maritime art, cartography, manuscripts, ship models and navigational instruments from the sixteenth century onward.
