For the career services and mentoring programs. The Office of Career Services offers lifetime career services and a range of comprehensive programs to each enrolled student and 6,500 alumni. Services include individual career counseling, employment internships, career fairs and customized classroom-based workshops.

The Mentoring and Leadership Development Program provides students with the academic and personal support they need to achieve their college degrees. Mentors comprise a select group of faculty, students from the upper classes and alumni who are committed to helping students adapt to academic demands early in their college careers. The program offers academic tutoring and coaching, writing, grammar and math workshops, and research and study skills, among other services. MCNY serves 1,600 college students, most of whom are low-income and minority working adults.
