Lifeline Humanitarian Organization

For an ultrasound unit to enable advanced breast screening after mammography and to aid biopsies of suspected breast cancer tissue. Current ultrasound equipment available in Serbia does not have these advanced capabilities. This unit will help physicians save many lives in Serbia, since early detection of breast cancer leads to higher survival rates. 

Founded in 1993, Lifeline Humanitarian Organization helps people in need throughout Serbia and Montenegro, regardless of religious or ethnic origin. Lifeline provides medicine and medical equipment to hospitals and clinics and other necessary supplies to orphanages. The organization is headquartered in Belgrade and has offices in Athens, Chicago, London, New York and Toronto.
