Program support
For launching and operating the Silver Alert program, as well as a helpline for offering support and reporting incidents of elderly abuse. The Silver Alert is a system for reporting missing elderly people, over the age of 65 especially those with medical issues, such as dementia or Alzheimer’s. The grant also involves launching a helpline offering support and reporting elderly abuse, operating on a 24-hour basis.

Life Line was established in 2006 with the purpose to provide health care at home to the elderly and those in need. Its signature program is the Elderly Adoption Program, which involves the free distribution and monitoring of emergency Telecare devices for the elderly.
