Leonard Cheshire Disability

Program support
To support a project aiming to strengthen inclusive education in Kenya. Leonard Cheshire Disability has been working with local authorities in Kenya for several years to promote inclusive education and create the right environment for the enrolment of disabled children to schools. The project includes the establishment of a pilot outreach children’s assessment system, as well as the training of teachers for the effective implementation of the National Inclusive Education Curriculum.

Leonard Cheshire Disability works with disabled people to change public attitudes towards disability and to develop services that meet individual needs and empower disabled people around the world. Its main objective is to enable disabled people to play an active part in making choices about their lives.
