Program support
To support the Technology Initiative for streamlining and integrating the various activities of Food Bank. New technologies will help the organization increase its capacity and provide more efficient services to its member agencies and the people they serve.

Since 1983, the Food Bank for New York City has worked to end food poverty and increase access to affordable, nutritious food for low-income New Yorkers, both in the short-term and over the long-term. Its three-pronged approach to eradicating hunger entails emergency food distribution, nutrition education for children and adults, and income support, helping New Yorkers obtain food stamps and access income tax credits for which they are eligible. The organization is one of the largest food banks in the country and provides significant aid to people affected by disasters across the nation.
