For the educational element of the permanent collection gallery at the New Design Museum. The new building is allocating three times more space to their important permanent collection and allowing them to extend their learning programs. The permanent collection gallery that explores the impact of design on everyday life will be the cornerstone of the New Design Museum. It will bring the objects and artefacts to life through a number of specially created learning zones, allowing the exhibits to interact and communicate with their diverse audiences in a more creative and effective way.

Founded in 1989 by Sir Terence Conran, the Design Museum’s principal activity is to advance the education of the public in the study of all forms of design and architecture in a historical, social, artistic, industrial and commercial context.
