For the Engineering Design Center. The School of Engineering is the largest of Cooper Union´s schools.  It offers undergraduate degree programs in civil, chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering.

Founded in 1859 by Peter Cooper, an inventor, industrialist and philanthropist, Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art offers outstanding academic programs in architecture, art, and engineering for undergraduates, all of whom are admitted solely based on merit and awarded full scholarships for their studies. To this day, Cooper Union is considered a pioneer for its academic, as well as its public programming, which serves to enrich the community at large.
