Program support
For expanding the in-school program. The in-school program consists of classroom instruction and an after-school chess club.

Established in 1986, Chess-in-the-Schools offers structured classroom, after-school, weekend, and summer chess lessons as an educational tool to promote learning and to help young people develop skills in critical thinking and problem solving. The organization improves New York City public school students’ academic performance and self-esteem.
