Arcturos

For an information center on the park´s wolves and for electronic equipment and educational materials. The center provides information on the biology, habitat, protection, presence and reproduction areas of wolves in Greece.  

Arcturos was established in 1992. Its main objectives are to protect and care for wildlife and to educate the public regarding these goals. The organization maintains one bear and one wolf sanctuary as well as one bear information center in the area of Amyntaio in Florina. More than 70,000 visitors per year learn about Greek wildlife and the importance of preserving wildlife habitats. Arcturos also runs various school educational programs on wildlife and the protection of the environment.
