American Society of Clinical Oncology

Program support

This grant supports the American Society of Clinical Oncology in bringing its initiative for quality-improvement training and assistance for oncology practices to ten additional practices working with traditionally medically underserved populations, including those in rural U.S. communities.

Founded in 1964, the American Society of Clinical Oncology aims to improve cancer care and prevention and to ensure that all patients with cancer receive the highest quality care. Its main activities are professional development for oncologists worldwide (37,000 attendees at annual conference) and dissemination of research and treatment data for scientists and patients.
