Studio in a School Association, Inc.

This grant supports the expansion of the Early Childhood Program to twenty new sites throughout New York City; at each site, artists trained by Studio in a School provide classroom instruction to children, model age-appropriate lessons for classroom teachers, and conduct five professional development and two parent workshops per session, with the ultimate goal of creating a place in the City's schools where students are free to explore and create art.
