SAPT Hellas

For the full funding of the SAPT Hellas activities SAPT Hellas was established in 2005 by a veterinary surgeon and a dog trainer.The main emphasis of the Program is on the Informational Campaign, which SAPT runs in collaboration with elementary schools in Attica and the rest of Greece, which aims to educate children with regards to the proper treatment of dogs and on the issue of stray dogs. The Pet- Assisted Therapy Program aims at the assistance and therapy of people with special needs through their interaction with SAPT’s specially trained therapy dogs. The third part is the Adoptions Program, which includes veterinary care for stray dogs and promoting their adoption.
