The grant supports the purchase of medical equipment for the establishment of a high dependency unit (HDU). Attikon hospital, established in 1995, is a 750 bed facility providing a full spectrum of specialty services, including a dialysis, orthopedics, oncology, pediatrics and a cardiac care unit.
