Holy Church of Saint George, Kypseli - Parish Charitable Fund - House of Elderly

For the installation of a fire detection / protection system. The Home for the Elderly of the Church of St. Georgios in Kypseli was founded in 1975 with the aim of providing nursing and care to elderly parishioners and local residents. The 5 floor building can accommodate up to 78 people in rooms with three and four beds, making it the largest of the 11 care homes operated by the Archdiocese of Athens parishes. The Home for the Elderly is administered by the 8-member Board of Directors of the Friends of the Poor Fund of the St. Georgios Kypseli Church and employs a staff of 18 people.
