Greekworks Foundation

This grant supports the publication of 2,000 copies of Wrestling with the Ancients: Modern Greek Identity & the Olympics by Alexander Kitroeff, the first scholarly study of its kind in English; the book includes documentation on the substantial Greek commitment to the international Olympic movement from its inception in 1894 to the present, and will be available to a wide audience of readers both in Greece and abroad.
