Biomedical Sciences Research Center "Alexander Fleming"

The grant supported the establishment of 7 new research groups through the recruitment and start-up support of new researchers, the employment of scientists and technicians, as well as equipment and consumables for all groups. In addition, through the grant the construction of the new mouse facilities to host the BSRC Fleming PhenoClinic was accomplished, the renovation of research labs that host the new groups were completed, as well as a multi-functional meeting space was created. The grant was included in the SNF's Research Center's Initiative, which is part of the Recharging the Youth Initiative.
