This grant supports a global project to prevent the abandonment of children and to provide services to abandoned children in Bamako, Mali; the project supports isolated young mothers who lack resources, assists the Nursery of Bamako in caring for children, reinforces human resources and management capacity through the training of staff members, and studies alternative solutions for child placement in Mali.
