Adult Guest House

For renovations and the purchase of equipment for the Adult Guest House.The Adult Guest House of the Municipality of Vouliagmeni was established in 1986 by a grant from a resident of Vouliagmeni.  It can house 38 self-sufficient adults and 12 permanent staff. The mission of the guest house is to provide moral support, shelter, and food to individuals who are unable to remain in their own homes for any given reason. The ultimate goal is to help adults who are at a productive age reenter society and to assist the elderly and those in weak health in finding specialized care centers such as nursing homes.  Since its founding, the guest house has hosted more than 2,000 people. Among the challenges its residents have faced are homelessness, unemployment, drug addiction, cancer, and spousal battery.
