Seeking Exceptional Leaders for the 2022 Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize

Mar 01, 2022
Do you know a leader in any field whose work is innovative, courageous, and holds the potential for global implications?

Nominations for the 2022 Tällberg-SNF-Eliasson Global Leadership Prize, presented jointly by the Tällberg Foundation and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), are open now through April 26.

Nominations may be made online by anyone and will be reviewed by an international jury. Two established leaders will each be awarded a $50,000 unrestricted grant, and five rising leaders who have demonstrated standout potential will each receive an $10,000 unrestricted grant.

The prize is named to reflect the longstanding partnership between the Tällberg Foundation and SNF, which provides support for the effort, and to honor Swedish diplomat and former Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Jan Eliasson.

The 2021 winners were leaders who created a marine conservation research center in Sri Lanka, combined local knowledge with established science to find new approaches to fight climate change, advocated for digital literacy for kids in Afghanistan, and championed palliative care in Rwanda.
