However, you don’t have to wait for the three-day weekend or for the Greek Independence Day holiday on March 25 to travel to Vamvakou. The Vamvakou Revival team has something exciting planned for every day of the month, from mountain activities to chamber music concerts, vocational programs, and educational robotics lessons at V.Lab.
At the end of the month, popular Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) programs will travel from Athens to Vamvakou for a few days. Through a two-day educational program specially designed for the SNFCC, children ages 8 to 11 will create a small, improvised fanzine.
You can find the complete program of March activities in Greek here.
All events are organized as part of the initiative to revive the village of Vamvakou, which is implemented by the Vamvakou Revival team with the encouragement and financial support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
