For the fourth New Year’s Eve in a row, the SNF RUN: FIRST RUN took place at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, inviting runners at a route that covers a distance of just 4 kilometers.

By participating in this year’s SNF RUN, runners supported the work of small non-profit organizations doing great work to look out for vulnerable children. This year’s partner nonprofits were Spring Children, Angels of Joy, and the "Good Shepherd” Minors Protection Association of Piraeus. The amount donated through the symbolic participation fee was tripled through an additional contribution from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

Live commentary on the SNF RUN: 2020 FIRST RUN was provided by iMEdD Managing Director, SNF DIALOGUES Executive Director and Journalist, Anna-Kynthia Bousdoukou.

The SNF RUN: 2020 FIRST RUN is made possible by an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which covers all production costs of the race. The organization of the race is undertaken by the nonprofit Regeneration & Progress and University of Athens Medical School 1st Orthopedics Clinic’s Department of Sports Excellence.
