19 November 2019

Six original plays, all written and rehearsed within 24 hours, took Broadway by storm on Monday—for a good cause.

Οn November 18, the 24 Hour Plays Broadway Gala in New York City was held to benefit the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN). The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) provided support and attended the event.

The event saw actors like David Harbour, who plays a leading role in popular television series Stranger Things, and writers like Jesse Eisenberg collaborate on whirlwind mini-productions. Funds raised by the event go to LE&RN, a nonprofit that has worked since 1998 to fight lymphatic disease and lymphedema.
