18 SEPTEMBER 2019 / “Lessons from the Greek Crisis” at Yale’s annual SNF Lecture

Looking back over what we can learn from a tumultuous decade in Greece and what it portends for the future, Bank of Greece Governor Yannis Stournaras will give this year’s Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Lecture at Yale University’s Hellenic Studies Program.

The lecture will take place at Yale on Thursday, September 19 from 5:30-8 p.m.
In addition to serving as Governor at the Bank of Greece, Yannis Stournaras is a member of the Governing Council and General Council at the European Central Bank, as well as a professor at the National And Kapodistrian University of Athens.

The lecture is presented through the Hellenic Studies Program at the Whitney and Betty MacMillan Center for international and Area Studies, whose activates are supported by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Center for Hellenic Studies at Yale University.

The event is open to the general public and will be followed by a reception. Video of the talk will be shared online soon after the event.
