The contracts relate to the supply and maintenance of equipment for the Greek National Center for Emergency Care’s (EKAV) medivac operations, as well as the provision and installation of special medical equipment (PET /CT scanners) in public hospitals throughout Greece.
The contracts define the framework and the general terms and conditions under which SNF will implement these grants.
SNF’s Health Initiative, with a total budget exceeding $348 million, includes the construction of the new General Hospital of Komotini – SNF and the University Pediatric Hospital of Thessaloniki – SNF, the supply of specialized equipment, and support for educational programs to enhance medical and nursing care and, by extension, to improve the health of Greece’s inhabitants.
In order to provide all citizens with timely and comprehensive information on the progress of its grants, SNF has committed itself from the start to providing regular quarterly updates available on the Foundation’s website. The fifth update is due to be published at the end of July.
