Art on the THES-PRES Express
24 June 2019

The journey, for fourteen young people from the four cities visited, starts on June 25 and ends on July 3. Guided by visual artists from the University of Western Macedonia and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, participants will create a digital walking diary. These will be presented at an exhibition opening at the Byzantine Collection of Agios Germanos in Prespa on July 6, as part of the International Encounters/Conference “Walking Practices/Walking Art/Walking Bodies” taking place in Prespa between July 1 and July 7.
THES-PRES is organized through a grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), as part of the POLIPRESPA program, a joint effort between local actors to create a model for the development of Greece’s Protected Areas.
