The Health Initiative is structured around new projects aiming to strengthen the Greek health sector, with a budget approaching $339 million.
The Assembly consists of representatives from the Prime Minister’s Office; the Ministry of Health; the Ministry of Education, Research, and Religious Affairs; the Ministry of Finance; the Ministry of Environment and Energy; the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport, and Networks; the National Center for Emergency Care (EKAV); the University of Athens Faculty of Nursing; Hill International, which has undertaken the management of the infrastructure projects; and the SNF. The monthly Assembly meetings ensure effective partnership and cooperation between all parties involved, giving participants the opportunity to stay informed about the development of the overall project, to manage any issues that may arise in a timely manner, and to exchange updates, ideas, and suggestions.
A Special Advisory Committee of representatives of the Greek state and the SNF was also established during the development of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC). The Committee convened regularly to ensure the effective collaboration of all parties involved until the SNFCC was delivered to the people of Greece.
