Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, is a non-profit organization founded nearly 100 years ago that seeks to supply the intellectual building materials needed to construct just and prosperous societies. It engages governments, NGOs, universities, corporations, and other stakeholders through debate, independent research, and policy innovation.
SNF has provided significant support for the work of Chatham House for over a decade. In 2014, Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh inaugurated the Queen Elizabeth II Academy for Leadership in International Affairs, in which SNF has permanently endowed the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Academy Fellowship. In 2017, Prince Harry of Wales inaugurated the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Floor at Chatham House, and the relationship of collaboration between the two organizations continues to expand.
