“5 Years of Impact” Conference on Social Entrepreneurship by Impact Hub Athens
28 MARCH 2019

Having completed five years of creative work, Impact Hub Athens will hold a three-day conference between March 28 and 30 at Impact Hub Athens and the Municipal Market of Kypseli.

The conference, featuring more than thirty speakers, will welcome Impact Hub’s next stage, looking back on its course so far and focusing on the trends in social entrepreneurship that will influence the organization’s work moving forward. Specifically, the conference will tackle topical issues and developments in the areas of systemic change, technology, activism, urbanism, and the circular economy.

Impact Hub Athens was created as the Greek branch of the global Impact Hub Network. Its main objective is to promote social entrepreneurship and innovation in Greece, by creating physical, virtual, and social infrastructure and by enabling and scaling high impact initiatives in order to solve contemporary social challenges.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) has supported the educational and capacity-building program of the Impact Hub, the Impact Hub Academy, with two grants, for a total period of three years. As part of the program, thousands of business startup entrepreneurs have received consultancy support, from initiating their idea to finalizing and developing it.
