The SNF attends the International Symposium of the Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door

On Friday November 23rd, representatives of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) attended the opening of the International Symposium of the Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door, titled “The Vulnerable Child."

The Symposium which concludes on Saturday November 24th, covers a broad range of topics, featuring distinguished international and Greek speakers.

Among other speakers is Dr. John Harris, Professor Emeritus, University of Manchester and Visiting Professor in Bioethics Department of Global Health & Social Medicine, School of Global Affairs, King’s College London, who delivered the keynote speech at the Symposium. In June 2018, Dr. John Harris took part in a panel discussion on “Disrupting the Boundaries Between Human, Animals & Machines: Chimeras, Artificial Intelligence & Other New Frontiers” at the 7th SNF International Conference.

The SNF has been supporting Cerebral Palsy Greece’s work since 2004 through a series of grants, including its grant for the establishment of an Open Door Center of Education and Rehabilitation.
