01 October 2018

With the start of the new school year, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) welcomes students from all educational levels, with a series of specially designed school programs focusing, among other things, on architecture, arts and sustainability.

Since the SNFCC opened its doors to the public, in 2016, more than 26,000 students have participated with their schools in these educational programs.

In October, “Parabases”, the readers’ theater series, return at the SNFCC, this time focusing on short stories by eminent Greek and foreign authors. In addition, in collaboration with the Greek National Opera, the SNFCC presents an all-day tribute to the music of the great Greek composer, Manos Hatzidakis. October’s programming is complemented by favorite, as well as new, sports and recreational activities and musical concerts for every taste.

On Friday, October 19th, the SNFCC hosts the 11th event of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s (SNF) monthly series of events, entitled DIALOGUES. The event is organized in collaboration with the German Embassy in Athens and will take place at the SNFCC Lighthouse, at 17:30 (EET), on the occasion of Germany’s renowned Oktoberfest celebration!

As every month, admission to all SNFCC sports, educational and cultural events is free of charge, through the exclusive support of the SNF.
