On Thursday, May 31st, 2018, the innovative Open Schools program of the Municipality of Athens, which is implemented with the exclusive support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation in collaboration with Athens Partnership, celebrated the end of the school year at the 26th Elementary Open School of Kipseli.
The school of Kipseli hosted music events, creative workshops for children, exhibition kiosks, art and photography exhibitions, as well as outdoor film screenings that will feature stories of the Open Schools program.
More than 22,000 Athens residents – and not only- of all ages have participated in over 370 activities within the Open Schools initiative, which for the last 3 years has been rejuvenating the local communities, as well as upgrading the quality of life in the city.
