Inauguration of the Renovated Facilities of the Rehabilitation Center for Disabled Children of Attica with the SNF’s support
20 April 2018
The buildings serve the needs of the children at the organization, which has been operating since 1937 and is well known for its contribution to disability issues and its specialized work.
The three buildings, which have been delivered to the Center of Social Welfare of Attica, will be used for the housing of young girls who have been living in the space for many years and are preparing to become autonomous. In addition, the new premises will serve as a hostel for children with disabilities in need of temporary specialized care and also as a Therapy Center for children from the community. The development of these new activities in the buildings aim to showcase the organization’s expanded and pioneering role in matters of disability and de-institutionalization.
