John Cale (19/6), Animal Collective (23/6) and Lianne La Havas (22/6) come to build on the already impressive lineup of this year’s Summer Nostos Festival (SNFestival). Music is one of the Festival’s key components, bringing together artists from around the world in an eclectic mix of sounds, genres, moods and audiences.

John Cale & Band

The Velvet Underground’s legendary John Cale and his band, present a selection of the iconic musician’s half century career spanning from Velvet Underground to Drella, lots of classic John Cale material, all the way up to songs from his forthcoming release.

Animal Collective

Animal Collective (Avey Tare and Panda Bear) will perform their 2004 album Sung Tongs in its entirety.

Lianne La Havas

Born in London to a Greek father and a Jamaican mother, the Grammy and BRIT Award nominated artist and guest on Coldplay’s ‘A Head Full of Dreams’ tour, Lianne La Havas, joins us for a much-awaited concert.

Building on last year’s success with 170,000 visitors, the Summer Nostos Festival (SNFestival), which is organized and made possible through the exclusive support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), returns to the city of Athens for yet another summer, between June 17th and June 24th, 2018.

The SNFestival is a festival free and open to all, presenting a rich program made up of music, dance, theater, modern art, sports, entertainment, performances and talks.
