On Thursday, February 1st, 2018, the Athens Coordination Center for Migrant and Refugee Issues (ACCMR) organized the 3rd ACCMR Forum, at its headquarters, in Metaxourgeio. The Center is an initiative of the municipality of Athens, supported with an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

The Center is a coordination hub for the exchange of experiences, best practices and ideas between local and international NGOs, organizations and municipal bodies to provide services to refugees and immigrants in the municipality of Athens. The main objective is the development of a strategic plan for the integration of refugees and immigrants into the city and the social sphere.

The Athens Coordination Center for Migrant and Refugees Issues (ACCMR) was established and has been operating since June 2017, under the “Migration and Refugees Coordination Center & Observatory" project, supported exclusively by SNF, while the Athens Partnership is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the program.
