14 December 2017

With support from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, the American Heart Association launched the “Mission: Lifeline Stroke” project in New York. “Mission Lifeline Stroke” is an initiative to improve delivery of prompt, coordinated, and evidence-based treatment for stroke patients across New York.

On December 13th, 2017, the project launched in the state’s Capital Region, Hudson Valley, and Westchester. Experts in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Cardiology, Neurology, Quality, Administration, and other disciplines convened to learn more about the success of this program for heart attack care in the region, and to discuss the translation of this work into stroke systems of care and innovation.
