DIALOGUES: Surrounded by the Christmas Spirit
11 December 2017

On Wednesday, December 20th, 2017, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) holds the second event of its new monthly series, DIALOGUES, entitled ‘DIALOGUES: Surrounded by the Christmas Spirit’. The event will take place at the Book Castle of the National Library of Greece, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, at 17:30 (EET).

In the run up to Christmas, the SNF invites you to discuss the impact of the holiday season, the importance of giving and the significance of truly feeling close to one another.

His Eminence Metropolitan Bishop Nikolaos of the Holy Metropolis of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki, and chef Alexandros Papandreou discuss the change that they see occurring around them during the holiday season, as well as the impact Christmas may have on people, faith, expression and creativity.

Shedia street magazine will also be present at the event, with the participation in the discussion of its salesperson, Michalis Samolis.

The Children’s Choir of the Greek National Opera will perform traditional carols.

Admission to the event is free and online pre-registration is required. To register for the event, please click here.

Through the monthly series of live events, entitled DIALOGUES, the SNF presents, among others, individuals who inspire through their work and actions and hopes to catalyze conversations around critical issues, around the world.
