Specifically the article notes that following the example of other such cultural centers around the world, the SNFCC finds itself in a respectful dialogue with the urban environment and has become a destination for visitors of all ages, offering a place where “culture, knowledge and high aesthetic quality co-exist in complete harmony”.

In addition Kathimerini in a recent article presents the Reading Room of the National Library of Greece at the SNFCC. During the author’s recent visit “dozens of people had left their houses early, overcoming the heat and the almost compulsive demands to go to the beach, and had decided to spend their morning (or their day) in what is by definition the most idyllic place in the entire city to read, study, work, browse the Internet, read your newspaper. And all of this, even before the official move of the National Library of Greece in its new state-of-art facilities.”
