Open-air cinema nights in Chalkidiki, with the SNF support
10 July 2017

The three-day summer film festival, Parthenώn Film Festival, returns for the third consecutive year, renewing its yearly rendezvous, and invites its audience to experience for three nights, from July 14th to July 16th, a unique, comprehensive cinema experience where masterpieces of the big screen coexist in perfect harmony with short films of young film makers.

The 3rd Parthenώn Film Festival is made possible through the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) and takes place in the traditional village of Parthenonas, situated in Sithonia, Chalkidiki.

This year, the open-air celebration of cinema will be complemented by the photography exhibition “My Photos”, by Konstantinos Petridis. Photo-documents of the area’s laographic tradition, historical and cultural heritage will be on display at selected locations of the village, opening up a dialogue between the past and the present.
